Our creative director Mike came up with the idea of Furrry Monsters, originally for our company business cards. The idea was simply to avoid the boring expectations of what a business card usually is. From this, his 9-year-old daughter wrote about a furry floating volcano, which Mike turned into a children’s book. ID Studio has created over 30 characters, each with unique names thanks to the help of Mike’s 5 creative kids. There are another 6 books to follow including, Volcano Island, Candy Island, Spaghetti Island, Splash Island, Brrr Island, Soccer Island and Nitro Island. Big thank you to Luz Diaz who has helped illustrate the books and a big thank you to Anthony Smith who helped work on the original business cards.
